Photo: Mark Jensen Designed in 1986 and ICD's first product, the Intellicenter (Intelligent Load Center) was an integrated multi-media show controller. It provided 24 dimming control channels, 6 opto isolated high voltage inputs and outputs, 8 digital inputs and 29 analog 0-10 volt inputs. Software was developed for the control of slide projectors, lighting and mechanical effects and for use in sales and demonstration rooms. Several of the systems were installed in real estate development offices to operate "walk-through" AV multi-image shows used to sell space in office buildings. This type of functionality is provided today using distributed systems such as AMX Corporation's AXLink.
